First  Prev

Demolished in the last year's massive earthquake, Saturday, Oct. 7, 2006 in Chikar, some 45 kilometers (27 miles) south of Muzaffarabad, the capital of Pakistani Kashmir. A year after a devastating earthquake struck northern Pakistan, more than 1.8 million survivors face a second harsh winter in makeshift shelters and tents while President Gen. Pervez Musharraf urged the international community to help us more to meet the challenge of the excess of housing to be constructed (as well as) health and education facilities.
